Artisans by decades\u2026<\/span><\/h2>

Rosano Dry Fruit<\/span> was founded in 1959 by Gaetano Rosano<\/span>, father of the current owner, who decided to start a business of shelling<\/span> and marketing almonds<\/span> for production of all kinds of semi-finished products.\n<\/span>
Subsequently, the company extended its activites to pistachios<\/span>, the family having had pistachio land since the beginning of 1900s<\/span>. \n<\/span>

The work of shelling and cleaning pistachio went on for years, until the 1990s, when the activity passed<\/span> into the hands of his son Tino<\/span>, who started a new stage. Since then, the purchase of raw materuial has extended from traditional supply by Sicilian farmers to importing<\/span> from foreign markets<\/span> too.\n<\/span>

Rosano Dry Fruit has thus become the first company in Italy<\/span> to import the precious Syrian pistachio and has continued to expand its range of action with the purchase of pistachios from the Greek<\/span>, Turkish<\/span>, Iranian<\/span> and Spanish<\/span> markets as well, to then export<\/span> to italy and abroad<\/span>. Today, the company also sells Georgian hazelnuts, targeting the italian market. <\/span><\/p> <\/div><\/div>
